Hosted Events
What type of events can I expect? We arrange many different types of fun events from social evenings with a buffet with live music or a disco, Barbeques, Bowling, Disco’s, Skittles with a meal, good Quality Restaurants, Canal Cruises, Theme parties, Dinner Dances and even days/weekends to France and much more.
Who joins Takes2? A wide variety of people from all walks of life join the club to meet other single people, making new friends and many members have found their soulmate. Whilst others have moved forward making new relationships, helping to gain self-confidence to help move forward with their lives.
What age ranges can I expect to meet? We have no upper or lower age limits, however the majority of members are in their 30’s, 40’s and 50’s. Our wide range of events ensures that no one feels out of place and our friendly members accept everyone at face value.
How do I talk to people I’ve never met before?
All our members are single and know just what it’s like to be alone and to come to an event for the first time, so they will all be happy to welcome you and will be just as happy as you to have someone to talk to as they maybe a new member too. Our very friendly hostesses will always welcome you into each event and introduce you directly to others throughout the evening and ensure that you feel comfortable. We are always available throughout the evening to help you enjoy yourself.

Every one of our members knows exactly how you are feeling as they have ALL been there as well. That is why they will welcome you and all are very friendly. Our hostesses will also welcome you and help you to enjoy the evening. Your early nerves will soon disappear when you find out how much fun can be had at every event
How much do events cost? All our events have different prices from £8 upwards. A typical restaurant meal will be about £16 - £22, while a special murder-mystery evening may be about £30. We also have a few very special events during the year (ie Xmas etc), which may be dearer. We try very hard to keep all our events easily affordable and excellent value for money, and we always pass on the savings to our members, as we can negotiate for block-bookings.
Is there a regular meeting? Although we have events available on a regular basis, they are held at different venues and not open to the general public most of the time. A full events program will be sent to you upon joining and you will be welcome to attend any event either in your own area or throughout Sussex/Surrey. Once you have attended 2 or 3 events you will make new friends and share the cost of travelling to and from the events.
Do I really need an agency to help me? The main benefit of using an agency is the large number of unattached people that you can meet who are also actively seeking new friendships, partners and even a new relationship. Who can join Takes2? Anyone who is single, divorced, separated or widowed. But ALL our members have to prove their single status, which as you may have already found is quite unique amongst singles dating agency.
